Finance and Trade department

The department performs the following activities:-

1. Facilitate payments of cash/cheques to employees/customers (Service Provider)
2. To collect Revenue
3. Prepare bank reconciliation.
4. Prepare Final Accounts and other Financial Statements.
5. Carry out pre-audits to ensure adherence to the relevant acts, regulations and circulars.
6. Prepare payment for salaries
7. To ensure safekeeping of all supporting documents like payment voucher, receipt and other important documents of financial records.
8. Advise the Council on all financial matters and present financial procedures to the Finance Committee for their approval.
9. Prepare annual Budget of income and expenditure in collaboration with Planning officer and other heads of department.
10. To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presented to the authority for decision making.
